| As a 2nd line support engineer for the largest web hosting and internet service provider in the UK, I am responsible for thousands of servers across 1 US and 2 UK data centres. I install new and maintain existing Windows & LINUX servers, conducting hardware and software upgrades (after thoroughly testing them). I monitor and ensure the quality of services such as email, hosting and connectivity as well as resolving customer issues referred to me by 1st line support. I also investigate complaints regarding spam and inappropriate material. As well as continuing to develop a wide range of technical skills, my prioritisation skills have improved as I must complete day to day problem solving tasks as well as ensuring timely delivery of project work.

Currently developing my skills in Visual Basic, C#, ASP and ASP.net in my own time, with a desire to study to be a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in the future.
