The Gloucester Crew

What is this section about?

This section was originally going to showcase all our latest productions. Tunes, graphics and programs for the Amiga and PC computers. But work, girlfriends, social life, etc, don't allow it.Thes pages are now just a showcase of anything I choose to put here, Just a mix of stuff that doesn't fit anwhere else my site.

What are TGC?

Well The Gloucester Crew was originally a group of Amiga users. We all had very busy social lifes so unlike a lot of hard programmers that we heard of in those days, we didn't sit around all night coding. Originally there were quite a few of us. We wrote some programs and music but with the Amiga coming out of the limelight, and ourselves growing up into a world of PC users where one needs to be able to use a PC to work in an office we moved on. We haven't forgotten the Amiga but haven't got the time for it anymore..

Even though I've now finished college, There's an old game I began to write for the Amiga entitled Formaula One, which I've converted all the data I made for it across to the PC and I'm attempting to write it in VB, just for the crack. Whether or not I'll end up with something playable is another matter, but if I get the free-time, I'll work on it more..

Written a fair few tunes and a classic ice-cream van short track which is great! Written some sound related programs. His Sample Name Editor for the Amiga was due here, but he never got the readme file sorted out and sent to me. Most of his programming is now done in perl, java and delphi which he now show-cases himself on his latest website.

This guy used to DJ regually and he certainly knows decent music. Some of his favourite music includes the Aphex Twin, Square Pusher, Mauro Picotto & Armin Van Buuren. Mark's written a fair few tunes in his time. Some of these are on the downloads page now. I will see if I can get his Prodigy - Charly backing track on here cause that it is cool. I really must badger him to dig these old tunes out..

Check out the Downloads section to get your hands on the goodies
